5. Click Yes to use DHCP.

6. Insert the Windows NT CD into your

CD-ROM drive and type the location of

the CD. Then click Continue.

7. Returning to the Network window, you

will find the TCP/IP Protocol among

the list. Select TCP/IP Protocol and

click Properties.

8. Enable Specify an IP address option.

Enter the IP Address: 192.168.1.x (x

is between 2 and 254) and Subnet

Mask: 255.255.255.0 and Default

Gateway: 192.168.1.1 as in figure

below.
